About this story

Synopsis

Luna Spencer believed she had found true love in Mike Packer, the man she thought would be by her side forever. But on the anniversary of their two-year relationship, Mike shatters her heart by standing her up, leaving Luna devastated and drowning her sorrows in alcohol. That night, she makes a decision that will change her life forever-a one-night stand with a mysterious stranger whose identity she never discovers. When Luna discovers she is pregnant, her life falls apart. Disowned and thrown out by her father, she has no choice but to leave everything she knows behind. With the help of her best friend, Amelia, Luna travels to Italy, determined to raise her child alone and build a new life. Six years later, Luna returns to New York with her son, Jaime, for Amelia's wedding. She never expects to meet Aaron Richmond, a powerful businessman who has spent his entire life putting business before love. Their attraction is unexpected, but their connection soon becomes impossible to ignore. Aaron doesn't care about the public's judgment when he chooses Luna over his glamorous childhood sweetheart, Carolina Moriarty. But Carolina refuses to accept losing the man she has loved for years. As Luna and Aaron grow closer, a shocking possibility emerges: Aaron may be Jaime's father-the mysterious man Luna spent that unforgettable night with six years ago. But just when Luna's life seems to be falling into place, Carolina's jealousy turns dangerous. After Jaime is kidnapped and later rescued, Luna vows to bring whoever is responsible to justice. Meanwhile, a devastating revelation threatens to tear Jaime and Aaron apart, leaving a young boy struggling with the pain of rejection. With enemies closing in and Carolina willing to destroy everything standing between her and Aaron, Luna must fight not only for the man she loves but also for the family she has spent six years protecting. And when the ultimate betrayal puts Luna's life on the line, Aaron is forced to confront how much she truly means to him. Will Luna and Aaron finally get the happy ending they deserve, or will the secrets of the past destroy their chance at love?
