Goodbye, My Heartless Husband

About this story

Synopsis

After two years of a loveless marriage, Noreen handed Michael the divorce papers. To him, she was nothing more than a woman who would never leave, no matter how cruelly he treated her. What he didn't know was that she was dying, with only months left to live. She walked away without revealing the truth. He wouldn't believe her anyway. Later, Michael discovered the shocking reality: the failing heart he once mocked was the very one Noreen had sacrificed to save him years ago. Worse still, the woman he had always loved was her all along. By the time he knelt in the rain begging, Noreen's heart had already moved on. "I've grown tired of you."
