About this story

Synopsis

In the bustling hallways of Kentwood High, Grace Essel thought she had it all: a loving boyfriend, a close-knit group of friends, and dreams of a bright future. That is, until the moment she catches Latif cheating on her with another girl-a betrayal that shakes her world to its core. Heartbroken yet resolute, Grace breaks things off, determined to move on. But Latif isn't giving up easily; he's relentless in his pursuit, trying to win her back and reignite their once-perfect romance. Desperate to reclaim her freedom and silence Latif's advances, Grace strikes a deal with the notorious player of the school, Michael. Their arrangement is simple: pretend to be a couple, and Latif will finally get the message. However, as the days turn into weeks, the lines between pretense and reality begin to blur. Michael, with his irresistible charm and hidden depths, starts to break down Grace's walls, forcing her to confront her buried feelings and unearth her true desires.
