Rejected By The Alpha, Claimed By The Blind Commander

About this story

Synopsis

In a world where wolf bloodlines dictate everything, I was born a wolfless merchant. My family's wealth had kept the prestigious Silver Peak Pack afloat for five years. But today, my betrothed, Elton Rosa, publicly broke our engagement in front of the High Council to marry a desperate social climber. He mocked my lack of an inner wolf, calling me a parasite lower than dirt. His mother even demanded I stay in their servant wing as an unmarked concubine, just so they could keep draining my trust fund to pay for their lavish lifestyle. "Without the shelter of an Alpha's pack, you are nothing but prey in this city." They expected me to crawl back begging for scraps, truly believing a wolfless orphan had no power to fight back against pureblood entitlement. I was utterly disgusted by their audacity and hypocrisy. Instead of shedding a single tear, I signed the dissolution contract and immediately called in their three-million-credit debt, bankrupting their entire pack overnight. Then, I used my wealth to buy a new alliance—a marriage blood-oath with the supposedly blind, crippled Supreme Commander, Knox Delaney. But when my ruthless new husband effortlessly crushed an assassin's silver bullet in mid-air to protect me, I realized I hadn't just bought a political shield. I had awakened an apex predator.
