Rejected by the Heir,Claimed by the Alpha King

About this story

Synopsis

I was the legitimate daughter of the Jones family, but my fiancé, Damien, was having a secret affair with my sister, Luna. On a stormy cliff, Luna pretended to slip. Damien arrived just in time to wrap her in his arms, looking at me with pure disgust. "Did you really think I would ever want you?" he sneered, condemning me without letting me explain. Despairing, the original owner of this body fell backward into the churning sea. To protect his and Luna's reputation, Damien told everyone I accidentally slipped. My own brother, Leland, believed their lies without question. He locked me up and ordered the butler to whip me for embarrassing the family. I even discovered from a blood test that my "innocent" sister had been slowly poisoning me for years. They all thought I was still that pathetic, submissive girl who would quietly die so Luna could take my place and marry into the prestigious Kensington family. But they didn't know the soul inside this body was now a top toxicologist and surgeon from the 21st century. I didn't just survive the freezing ocean; I also saved the life of Archon Caspian Kensington, the supreme lord of Damien's entire clan. When the Kensington envoy's carriage suddenly arrived at our estate, my brother proudly pushed Luna forward, expecting a grand marriage proposal. But the envoy walked right past her, stopped in front of me, and bowed deeply. "Lady Inez, the Archon requests your presence."
