Rejecting My Cruel Alpha For His Rival

About this story

Synopsis

After losing our first pup two years ago, I finally got pregnant again. I thought this miracle would mend my fading mate bond with Alpha Ryker. But when I went to tell him, I found my cousin Serena in his arms. She was claiming to be pregnant with his fated heir. To frame me, Serena burst a hidden blood pack between her legs and screamed that I was killing her baby. Ryker rushed in, his eyes blazing with absolute hatred. He didn't listen to a single word of my defense. "You are a monster!" Using his crushing Alpha Command, he forced me to my knees. The spiritual blow tore through my soul, causing me to hemorrhage and nearly miscarry my actual unborn child. Then, he had his guards dump my unconscious body in the freezing woods like trash. Lying in the mud, my heart completely died. I was the one who took a silver arrow for him five years ago, yet he let Serena steal the credit. How could he ruthlessly destroy his true mate for a woman whose entire existence was a lie? Fortunately, I was saved by his greatest rival, Alpha Silvercrest. The next day, instead of running away, I marched right back into Ryker's study and slammed a formal Rejection Petition on his desk. "I hereby reject you as my mate," I said coldly. "Sign it, or I'll expose your precious Serena to the entire pack council."
