The Defiant Luna Rejects Her Arrogant Alpha

About this story

Synopsis

I was the perfect Luna to the Alpha of the Blackwood Pack, staying by his side just to fulfill my promise to his dying mother to secure his rule. But the moment his power became absolute, he flaunted his affair with a rival pack's actress on every tabloid cover. Because of our mate bond, every time he touched her and laughed with her, I felt a phantom knife sawing at my soul. For three years, I endured his coldness and public humiliation, while he treated me like a pathetic stray he was forced to keep. When I finally confronted him about the agonizing pain the bond forced on me, he just smirked and offered me a larger budget for my charity events to keep me quiet. He thought I was just a lamb he owned, completely unaware that I had been sharpening my claws in the dark all along. I didn't understand how a fated mate could be so blindly cruel, casually crushing the naive girl who had once loved him with all her heart. So, I cracked his private safe, legally claimed sixty percent of his secret corporate acquisition, and walked into his office with a severance agreement. "Plan A, you reject me and I walk away clean. Or Plan B, I hand your assets to your enemies and tear your kingdom apart."
