The Rejected Luna's Spectacular Comeback

About this story

Synopsis

For three years, I was the pathetic, unloved Luna of the Blackwood Pack, while my Alpha mate, Donavan, paraded his "true love" Christie around for everyone to see. Unable to bear the public humiliation any longer, I finally signed the Mate Bond Rejection Agreement and placed it right on his desk. I packed my bags, ready to return to my powerful family, move into my new penthouse, and restart my abandoned career as a brilliant tech scientist. But just as I was about to escape, Donavan's mother blocked the front door with her own luggage. She ruthlessly ordered my belongings moved into Donavan's master suite, announcing she was moving in to "supervise" our mating and ensure an heir. Donavan didn't stop her. Instead, he trapped me against the bedroom wall, threw a towel in my face, and sneered. "Since you're so desperate to be in this room, you can damn well play the part." I felt a suffocating despair. They despised my very existence, treating me like a disposable pawn. Why wouldn't they just let me go? Why force me to bear a child for a man who didn't even know my personal phone number? But as I looked at the cold walls of my gilded cage, my tears finally stopped. They thought they had trapped a weak, submissive wife. They didn't know I was Eleanor Vance, and I was about to burn this entire empire to the ground.
