UNWANTED WIFE, A LYCAN PRINCESS

About this story

Synopsis

On the night of her mating ceremony, Lyra is rejected in front of thousands. She walked into that stone circle believing in fate. She walked out with nothing but the echo of his voice telling her she was not enough. Alpha Kael Blackthorn, the most powerful wolf in the Northern Territories, looked at her and chose to let her go. The crowd laughed. The court whispered. And Lyra swore she would never beg for love again. But something happened in that circle that no one expected. A silver mark blazed on her wrist. A mark that had not appeared in over a thousand years. A mark that belongs only to the lost bloodline of the Moon Crown. Suddenly the woman everyone dismissed is the most important person in the kingdom. She is not an orphan. She is not nobody. She is the missing daughter of King Aldric, the true heir to the Lycan throne, hidden away as a child to protect her from enemies who wanted her dead. Those enemies are still alive. And now that Lyra has been found, they are coming for her again. The king orders Kael to marry her. The man who rejected her in front of the entire kingdom must now call her his wife. He must watch her transform from the girl he dismissed into the most powerful female Lycan alive. And somewhere in all of that, against everything he swore to himself, he begins to fall. But Lyra remembers what it felt like when he broke her. And she is not the same girl who walked into that circle wearing a dress too white and a heart too open. ---
